This website aims to conform to theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1at level AA.

What we do

• semantic structure with landmarks, ordered headings, and a skip link;
• full keyboard operability, including the mobile navigation;
• colour contrast checked against WCAG AA in all interactive states;
• meaning never carried by colour alone;
• reduced-motion support for animations and transitions;
• descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, empty for decoration;
• automated accessibility checks (axe-core) and manual keyboard and zoom testing as release gates for every change.

Known limitations

Some story banner images contain stylised text that repeats the adjacent page heading; these images are marked decorative so the text is not announced twice.
